Many varied interests and activities are right here on your doorstep at Cnapan. Without taking to the car you can be on Parrog beach inside ten minutes with its estuary, boats and rock pools, and on Newport Sands within fifteen minutes.
Drawing of Coast

There you can pick up the spectacular coastal path and walk south towards Cwm-yr-Eglwys with its ruined chapel on the beach, or you can walk north towards Ceibwr Bay and see some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in the country.

For a change you may want to walk inland (again no need for the car) along the Nevern Estuary with its wooded banks, bird sanctuary and Pilgrim's Way leading to St. Brynach's Church, Nevern, where you will see the famous bleeding yew and ancient Celtic Cross.

Going inland again you may choose to discover the historic seclusion of the enchanting Gwaun Valley or the grandeur of the Preseli Hills with Pentre Ifan burial chamber and the blue stone ridge, source of some of the stones of Stonehenge.

Again, close to us at Cnapan, you will find the full range of more active holiday pursuits like pony-trekking, fishing, boat hire, tennis and excellent facilities for sailing, canoeing and wind-surfing, not forgetting the golf course next to the beach.
